Antebellum Oaks Venue
Mariachi Amor performed for a wedding at Antebellum Oaks Venue on December 2, 2017. The venue is located in the Lakeway area and is surrounded by some spectacular landscape.
As we arrived, the mother of the groom requested “Sabor A Mi” for the wedding couple as we entered the venue.
The bride and groom looked into each other’s eyes as we strolled up playing the requested song. The bride had a beaming smile as she glances at us and then back to her husband.
Both the groom and the bride stood up after the song was finished and wanted us to do something special for them. They asked if we could play “Las Mañanitas” for the groom’s mother since it was her birthday. Also, they asked us to wait until we saw the person with the roses. The coupled wanted to give the mother the roses themselves while we played the song.
The guests had maracas on their table, and when we played an upbeat cumbia, they shook the maracas. We love it when the guests enjoy the experience of live music. One guest got up and danced a whole song with us as the table clapped and cheered him on.
We love it when the guests enjoy themselves.
